Unit 1- Doctoral Orientation Discussion Post

In your initial post, discuss what a dissertation is. In other words, how would you define a dissertation, what are the 5 chapters in a dissertation and why we have each one, and finally what we hope to learn through the process of writing a dissertation (and how it improves society)
